Man in Richmond threatens black church

I can't link to the story. White man threatened to kill people yesterday at a bible study in Richmond. He was taken to a hospital not jail. For a psych eval.
I'm thinking white people may want to ask their black friends if we should join them in protecting their churches. I'm an atheist so I don't go to church services but I would go to stand with my friends. We need to put our lives out there to stop this.

the fringe edge a green light to proceed. I'm often started spinning the old radio dial and hearing the hatred bellowing out.

Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity seem relatively tame compard to Alex Jones and the Infowars crowd. They're frothing at the mouth over the idea of a race war and they've already got blood on their hands. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Roof had a hard drive full of lunatic fringe podcasts from places like Infowars and such.

A man, armed with what witnesses described as an edged weapon, threatened to kill people at the church.

“I’m gonna kill all you and all you are gonna get killed tonight,” is what witnesses said he was yelling as he banged on a door to the church.

“Immediately after leaving bible study, a man walked up to the church, banging on the door and yelling obscenities, racial slurs and threatening to kill the people inside,” said Bishop Orrin Pullings.

The congregation quickly locked all doors to the church. An on duty-security officer came around, drew her gun and held the man while she called for backup. Richmond Police quickly arrived on scene and tookthe man into custody.

But we stand at the church, black and white so that members of the church can worship in a place of peace. So we can restore a place of safety. Because no where is safe now.
