It is time to say GOODBYE to a very specific MEME.

"If only Obama would take his WORDS and make them ACTIONS"

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/obameter/rulings/promise-kept/?page=2
http://whatthefuckhasobamadonesofar.com/

ANYONE who uses this to down play what our President is doing is no longer being intellectually honest. Not that they are lying, they are just being lazy.

This MEME is baseless. This MEME is tired. This MEME is dead.

Can you make your point without the belittling sarcasm in the second option ?

I think you can.
I wish you would.

Obama is the best of all POSSIBLE Presidents

thus all of his failures simply represent us unrealistic, no Presidential experience, naive childlike expectation that Obama would do the impossible.

You know, like letting the Bush tax cuts expire, or even fighting that battle. I mean, how could he possibly have done that?

Well, he couldn't and still have kept his George H.W. Bush promise "no new taxes". And of course, he just HAD to make that George HW Bush promise, or it would have been impossible for him to get elected. Just like if he had made the Chris Matthews types pay more taxes, they would have ensured that he would not be re-elected.

that the "new" Democrats are looking for something that does not exist. Liberals by definition are free thinking individuals. We are not meant to follow anyone in lock step, the desire to question everything is hardwired into us. You are not going to gain votes by calling anyone who has a gripe with an Obama policy a liar or lazy. Especially since that's usually not the case.
