I'd date most of these c. 1955-65. The River Festival shots appear to be a bit older, though. Not nit-picking. Thanks!

and the photos at the link, wow. I wish you could post most of them. Japan has grown into a huge financial power since World War II, and here you can see the growth spurts.. considering that Tokyo had been fire bombed and mostly destroyed during the last days of the war. Thanks for posting this..
