But as CAPTIONERs we often try to channel the essence of what our subjects said or provide what we think they would have said if they thought they could get away with it. All for satiric purposes.
(ON a historical note, the argument about a gentlemen taking his property anywhere he wanted was actually made on the floor of the U. S. Congress in an attempt to make territories recognize and accept slavery. Before the Civil War of course.)
