Colorado women accused of spraying Lysol on dirty dancing ‘sluts and whores’

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/05/15/colorado-women-accused-of-spraying-lysol-on-dirty-dancing-sluts-and-whores/

Two parent chaperones have been accused of spraying Lysol on students during a Colorado high school prom because teen’s “dirty dancing” looked like “they were advertising butt sex.”

A police report obtained by The Smoking Gun on Tuesday indicates that Jennifer Farmer and Hannah Rockey were charged with “harassment” because they directed obscene language at students attending Manitou Springs High School last month.

According to one of the seven victimized students, the women told female students that they were “advertising butt sex” and called them “sluts and whores.”

“Ms. Farmer and Ms. Rocky (sic) advised that some of the kids were becoming disruptive and were being explicit while dancing,” the police report says. “Ms. Farmer advised that when the kids were being inappropriate she had ways to deter the behavior. She would use Lysol spray, flashlight or another unknown object to shy students way [sic] from certain styles of dancing.”

They overspent on the Super Bowl spot, and would have done better advertising it online.

It's a niche service, but I don't think we've seen the end of it yet.

Advertising buttsecks? Srsly?

I don't think girls should be touching their toes and grinding ass into cock on the dance floor at a high school. They can wait until they are 18 and go to the dance clubs to do that.

There's a happy medium between Bob Jones University and straight up grindage.

For one thing, the only evidence we have that anything improper was going on comes from obviously sexually frustrated people who spray kids with lysol and call them "sluts and whores". Doesn't sound like the most reliable source of information to me.

For another thing, even if you assume something that a reasonable person would conclude was improper was going on, how is it just the girls' behavior that should be corrected? I hope you didn't mean it that way.

It takes two to tango, as it were. I wasn't trying to let them off of the hook and didn't mean to leave that impression.

And maybe you're right about the woman. I don't know. It's possible she's not reliable, but of course someone like her is going to react strongly to over-the-top dancing and that stuff does occur sometimes. So it's possible it really happened in this case. But I wasn't there so I can't say.

Have you been to a dance club in the last 10-15 years? There's some serious debauchery that goes on there. I'm fine with legal adults doing that, but I don't approve of it at a high school function.

When I was in high school, they dressed in "dress up" clothes, and some even wore formal dress like we did. Friends who have recently done the same for their kids say chaperones still dress like that.
