Crowdfunded bailout of Greece
Hardly realistic, I know, but wouldn't it be great if the forces of austerity and capitalism-without-democracy were defeated by millions of ordinary people showing #SolidarityWithGreece
In any case, as you say, it's hardly realistic. It would have to raise billions.
More of a chance to pitch in and help, and maybe score some yummy feta as a thank you.
It costs more than the feta and olives, but less than the Greek holiday. I can't check the details, due to the site crashing, as mentioned above.
"Greek Bailout Fund" campaign page
The Greek Bailout Fund campaign page is experiencing some issues due to its astonishing popularity. It should be back up shortly.
Follow us on Twitter and we'll let you know when it's back up.
Thank you for your patience!
I'm still extremely skeptical that they'll reach their goal of 1.6 billion.

Continuing at the same rate, it will take 3,000 days to reach 1 billion.
Edited to add: Weirdly, the amount has now dropped down to 874,356. Can people rescind pledges?
