According to several recent videos I have viewed, beating the shit out of some handcuffed sot is permitted if the cop shouts the magic words while doing so.

1. I think they're all hoping the audio is captured, but they're blocking enough of the video to make

a grand jury unwilling to indict them, or a regular jury to convict. Seems to work most of the time.

3. Yeah. Noticed that. A guy could be hit by a semi on foot running and the cops are yelling....

...."Stop resisting!" over and over even though the guy is either dead or out cold.

4. Decades ago I heard a bouncer smugly explain that it was common to loudly exclaim "Don't touch me!"

while proactively shoving a patron, as a way of covering one's ass while roughing up a patron.

I have no doubt whatsoever that cops have their own bag of tricks, chuck full of ways to avoid accountability.
