Can't we have a "Forever" stamp that is not patriotic? Something inclusive of everyone and not just RA-RA, RA. USA, USA, USA!
A scenic view of a Sun Rise or something depicting of people actually getting along together.

Well, OK, maybe one Patriotic picture is ripe for the Forever Stamp.

Lots of images can be on a Forever stamp. Surely, we as a country can do better than Nationalism on everything. We need to start somewhere.

The Christmas stamps I bought were, and I also bought Love stamps that are forever stamps. I had quit buying patriotic stamps when Shrub and the Evil One got elected, so I am grateful to get Forever stamps in other themes.

Super Postal Man wore a uniform made of them in the Avengers movie. Unfortunately, he wasn't in the movie long, as Loki mailed him.

This is a blatant attack on everything the Republicans stand for. They might as well have printed up "Protect our natural resources... Forever" or "Stop kicking orphans... Forever" or "Be logical and fair-minded... Forever." The Post Office should stay neutral on these topics and treat both sides of the controversy equally. You know, just like the major news networks do.

But then again, Republicans talk a lot about "balancing the budget" and "personal responsibility" and "reducing the size of the government" and "getting tough on al-Qaeda." Hell, I've even heard a few of them talk about "preserving the Bill of Rights." That doesn't mean they'll actually do anything about it.

Oh, those loveable scamps...

One more bit of evidence why the GOP would like to sell out the postal service to private interests.

Wonder what a privatized postal system's stamps would look like???

"Forever"? Nope - "Rate good thru the end of this week"

Maybe the Don't tread on me flag with slogans like "The one percent" "Liberty and Justice for those who can afford it" "Live free or go back to where you came from!"

not to mention that the post office and its pesky union is being phased out of business, despite being enumerated in the Constitution.

That isn't an asterisk, it says "2012".
Must mean for everyone.

Having said that, I don't use the forever stamps. I live across the street from the PO, and I enjoy buying a sheet of whatever the latest cool stamp is when they come out.
