Breaking Fox Poll: Obama is Opening up a Can of Wup on Romney

Breaking Fox Poll: Obama is Opening up a Can of Wup on Romney

by joelgp

President Obama tops Republican Mitt Romney in a head-to-head matchup by seven points 46-39% according to the latest Fox News poll-mainly because American voters feel more positive about the economy. Check out these highlights:
1. Obama wups Swiss Mitt 46 % to 39% - Three weeks ago they were tied at 46%.

2. Obama has 88% of Dems support and Romney gets 84% of the con vote

3. Obama spanks Romney with women 55% to 33%.

4. 74% Obama voters are satisfied with him while only 59% of Romney voters are satisfied.

5. Obama approval 49% - 47% disapprove

6. Highest Fox approval since May 2011, after the raid that killed OBL

7. To Obama’s advantage, voters feel the economy is improving.

8. The number saying the economy is in “poor” condition has dropped 14 percentage points from a year ago. The number saying it’s in better shape is up 11 points.

9. On his handling of Afghanistan: 53% approve.

10. 46% approve of the job Obama’s doing on the economy, up from 39% a year ago.

I bet you a bowl of peach cobbler that they will bury their own poll on cable TV.

A Faux poll, too!

My question is who are the 3% of people who approve of Obama's performance as president but aren't going to vote for him?

this choice? It just boggles my mind every time I think about it. Who the hell are these swing voters??

I keep hearing "Elections are won in the middle," "The only voters who matter are the swing voters," "Obama has to win the toss-up states," blah blah blah.

How about this? "We must get out the progressive vote so fucking hard that the idiots who can't decide between toxic, regressive cruelty versus honest, diligent competence become completely irrelevant."

So if they say Obama is ahead by 8-9 points, then he's probably really ahead by 24-25 points!

They will have polls later on showing Romney pulling ahead. Faux's explanation? Romney is "connecting" with the people.

for what is right. We have to get all who claim to be for Obama and then hunt for more votes. We are trying to save the USA and I truly believe Obama is our only hope running right now, he is smart and he does not mind making big decisions, Romney is not for citizens of the USA.

Interesting responses in this poll on Fox. One that strikes me is reason to vote Romney over Obama...top response at 43%...he's not Obama. Nothing to do with Romney being a better choice...just that he's not the man currently in the chair.

I think the M$M is still discussing that CBS/NY Times poll with Romney in the lead.

Women speak up, women vote, and women make more videos of how the GOP want to take away your rights as a woman. Women are the key to this election. Twitter is another tool to channel women to videos that let them know what will happen if the GOP take over. And with these turn backs of violence against women, these Repukes are taking it too far. The Repukes are really giving this election to us if we want it. Let's use their efforts on the war on women to get it done. Play hardball girls. NO SEX till your guy agrees with you. Don't let him vote against you no matter how long he has been a Repuke. Break up with him if that is what it takes. Get a divorce if that is what it takes. Because if he chooses party over you, then you ain't worth a damn to him.
