...he has a toady from Koch Brothers on right now.
He asked the guy about the "Stand Your Ground" law and the Koch Bros. endorsement of it.
The guy said "First of all, that was a falsehood from a guest on your show, Karen Finney, a PAID DEMOCRATIC STRATEGIST..."
Bashir interrupted him.
"She hasn't been paid by the DNC for THREE YEARS."
Bashir is STILL spanking this guy's ass as I type this.
TUNE IN NOW.

(140 posts)...shoulda' raised flags, i suppose, on how fast it was posted up to youtube. This first posted interview had been pre-hacked and am removing the post as we speak.
Hope the entire version comes up soon.
Sorry for the mix up
MSNBC's site has it up (of course - but is blocked from my viewing)
and Bing's Player does.

This guy's a crackpot joke! I was at that rally; slim, at best, occurrence of some civil disobedience, but non-existent in the violence category. And happened a good distance from Palm Springs. More like Cathedral City at best, Palm Desert. But not Palm Springs.

(100,065 posts)I've said it before and I'll say it again: The Koch Brothers and their buddies are the only people in this world who can accurately be called terrorists - they've done more damage to this country than Al Qaeda could ever dream of!

(30,885 posts)Bashir: "Myself, and every one of my MSNBC colleagues, have invited Mr, Charles and Mr. David Koch to come on for an interview, on a number of occasions, and they have refused."
Koch Brothers Toady: "That's because they are concerned that they would not be treated fairly by your network."
Bashir: "You mean we would ask them questions?"
Today's show was GOLDEN.

Selective memory?
YES.
Not knowing?
Not bloody likely.

(2,916 posts)that BILLIONAIRES are buying our democracy... and we don't like it.
Next question: what do they want in return. You can bet it won't benefit anyone but themselves and their fellow 1%ers.

I think he is at the right station, at least for right now. I know he won't take crap from anyone... he will grill both Repukes and Democrats equally well.
Martin Bashir is a proper journalist. He's had the proper training. He's doing a proper job.
Spazito
(50,325 posts)Exactly! His training and experience are glaring when compared to the infotainment talkers who now populate the mainstream media posing as journalists.

Of course, these Rethug bastards are paid by everyone from the Koch Family to General Mills to Archer Daniels Midland and that's just dandy. Patriotic, in fact.

(3,539 posts)For time eternal we democrats have played nice, put up with lies and falsehoods and if you will, generally turned the other cheek.
I'm beginning to feel that all that is over now.
May be an over used quote but...
We're mad as hell and we're not going to take it any more.
I suspect these are just the first steps on the repug's trip to the woodshed.
It's been a long time coming.

(30,885 posts)1). MSNBC as "liberal bias media"
2). Hard-working, honest Koch Brothers receive death threats for being hard-working and honest.
It was like skeet shooting. Martin yelled "PULL" and the Koch agenda went up in the air and he got it in his sights and blew it to POWDER.

(32,688 posts)When the guy was complaining about the unfair treatment they receive on MSNBC, and Bashir said something like, "They ask questions?" I was skeptical about Bashir at first but I really like him now.

(12,296 posts)I've heard him spew some pretty "Wall Street Bankster Approved" memes as starting points for discussions over the past year or so.
We need more 'journalists' who challenge 'the way things are' from the get-go, not just assume that how it is/how it got here is/was ok.
