William the Horse swims miles offshore. Must be rescued.

Really.

The horse was being used in a photo shoot on the beach. He got spooked and bolted into the Pacific. People tried to swim out to him, but he was far too fast. Next thing anyone realized he was miles off shore where the rescue was finally effected.

William is unharmed and doing well.

8. Another example of what my Grandpa said.

He grew up using horses on a farm.

He told me when I was little to stay away from the farm's horses, because "Horses are born stupid and only get worse."

(I know, I know, not all of them are like that)
