(7,318 posts)anything.... no time to be smart.
ETA this may not be a video/photo of the crime scene. When you click on the link the reporter is saying that this is a first look at the cell where Sandra Bland was found hanging. The implication is that this is a video of the cell as it looked yesterday (when the reporter was there). So is that a new trash liner? That doesn't make sense though, because the police spokesman said they had removed all bag liners from the cells after Sandra's death. Would they have left the cell untouched and unused since then? Are those items shown in the photo Sandra's?

(62,277 posts)My guess is that they'll claim some janitor put the liner in and the order to remove the liners came after the news crew went there.

Really?
This may shock the HELL out of these backwater cops but it is NOT against the law for a black person to get uppity.

(30,769 posts)of that type being in a cell in the first place. It could be used in all sorts of unintended ways.
There is nothing right about this. It screams cover-up.

(11,012 posts)is only minimally furnished... particularly when, in every jail/prison I've heard of, inmates are very limited in how much stuff, including paper, magazines, books, et als, they are allowed to have in the cells.
