General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsThe Republican party is the default party in this country: They get a big mic to express their
thoughts on every issue and their opinions on the president and his every move. When democrats have something to say about a sitting republican president they may talk about their objections but you only see it on c-span. The right gets the mic at every turn. And, their lies even get covered no matter how huge. The media just lets them go on and on about what's wrong with every single Obama policy and rarely do you get a Democrat's opinion or any sense of fact checking. Think back to the Bush years. NO ONE was allowed to be heard criticizing King Bush but the air waves are awash with Obama bashing republicans.
End of rant.

(3,951 posts)Statistically Dems are the most flexible about their media intake. They express more trust in media than RWers do:

Much of what little media there is that passes for left of center is just comedians watching Fox news with you -- Colbert, Daily Show, etc. We obsess about RW media and make refuting the center of our own media. That is all defense and no offense so we never put real points on the score board. And worse, we accept the frames pushed by RW media which helps advance their agenda.
We are perhaps too easily pacified with laughter at our own media impotence.

(6,162 posts)the comments by other republicans about Trump. That's it all day long and the only issue is apparently immigration laws. You wouldn't even know that the Democrats were having an election. When do we get to talk about Bernie Sanders's huge turn-outs and the issues that are inspiring his supporters!!!!!! Come on Media, come on people, lets fix this!!!!!
