Jeb Bush Sent Thank-You Note To Swift Boat Vets For John Kerry Smear - Jeb should be accountable too
http://crooksandliars.com/2015/07/jeb-bush-sent-swift-boat-vets-letter-2005
As I already discussed here, we've got a whole lot of Republicans and their presidential candidates up in arms over Donald Trump's remarks about John McCain, and I was wondering where their outrage was when Republicans were busy smearing Democrats who have served our country honorably as well, like John Kerry did, and Tammy Duckworth and Max Cleland among a host of others, We all know that the lot of them could care less about what happens to anyone who signs up to defend this country as a member of the armed services. What they care about is using those people for political fodder and to keep their base worked into a frenzy. If you already weren't sure just how cynical these Republicans can be, here's how Jeb responded to McCain being smeared by Trump while ignoring his own treatment of John Kerry: Self-Proclaimed Champion of Veterans Jeb Bush, Supported Switfboating John Kerry: Jeb Bush said yesterday in response to Donald Trump’s attack on John McCain that all veterans are deserving of respect: (Jeb Twitter post at link above) As Atlanta Journal-Constitution columnist Jay Bookman then pointedly asked, “Yeah. Just like the respect that John Kerry got in ’04?” It turns out that in 2005, Jeb thought one veteran in particular should be attacked. He even thanked other veterans for swiftboating John Kerry, whom Republican conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi, who has never served his country, decided to accuse of cowardice in order to keep him out of the White House: I look forward to the media asking him about his double standard when hell freezes over, which is about how long it will take for any of them to call out the GOP for being a bunch of opportunist, lying, pearl clutching hypocrites. Here's a copy of that letter from Bush for anyone that would like to read it. ******************************* The letter is available to view at the link above. The letter Jeb Bush said thank you for the smear, to help his brother. JEBBY should be tossed early too, along with Trump!

5. and in the Bush thank you letter he calls them 'swifties' & mentions their Orlando vacation reward.
No wonder Florida was so broke by 2008 and held first place in unemployed Americans.
Florida was number one in homeless families and hungry kids going to the school bus from their cars parked in walmart parking lots. |

Jebbie shouldn't be acting like he "respects" veterans.

11. Yup! right up there with the recorded "throw their asses out!" referring to the press outside
his office. What a governor. You are looking at him being prez, if we don't stay focused on the real target. It's not Trump. While he's an azzhat, Bush was professional, on the people's stationary, writing this shit!
He should never be the prez! N E V E R !!! |

20. He's just as mean as the rest of the Bushes. Harmless 'affability' has always been a mask
they put on when out in public and in front of cameras. Poppy perfected that 'appearance' after he moved up in the CIA in the 50s and 60s, not too long, really, after the family had been caught playing footsie with Hitler.

anyone, who could win? Yet they should be. How, can anyone forget this!
And he wrote it on the Governor's stationary!!!!! |

15. Nothing at all new, press always gives Bushes complete pass, ALWAYS.
Prescott Bush was indicted for supporting the enemey during a time of war. Why was this never brought up when any of the Bushes are running for office? It would 100% disquality anyone else if their grandpa was a confirmed traitor, but for the Bushes, it never happened. Poppy was a traitor when he personally intevened with Iraq to keep the Americans hostage until after the elections. The meeting he said in testimony before congress never happened, really did happen and has been proven. Crickets! GW starts a war of choice and is implicated in the events of 9/11, yet is not made to testify under oath and no notes were allowed and Cheney was there with him to keep his story straight. 28 pages of the testimony were redadacted, the part about Saudi Arabia. One of the first things Bush did when he stole the presidency the first time was to give an executive order than any Saudi Arabian national was not to be stopped coming into this country, even if they were on the terror list. Hmmmm.
So, OF COURSE, the national media never mention Jebbie's support the Swifties for pure personal reasons - hurt Kery and help his bro. He never mentioned the words truth or accuracy because that's not what he was interested in. He's a true political hack and that's why the media won't cover it. The Bushes are part of the original and ongoing 1%ers so are sacrosanct to msm. ![]() |

Lost his companies because he was collaborating with Nazi's. The US Government confiscated them.
He was still collaborating when WW 2 was going on. |

23. You make my point.
Wasn't he a Senator after the war? How the hell did that happen? How the hell did the child and grandchild of a traitor become president? How was this never brought up during any of their campaigns, not even once? Yeah, the media is "owned" by the Bushes.

24. Bush Family
Yes, Prescott was a Senator. His ill gotten money created the dynasty
And they grow more corrupt with each succeeding generation. The elder Bush went to Iran to make a deal with the Iranians to hold the hostages until Reagan was sworn in. Why do you think we had the Iran/ Contra scandal? That was pay back..Before any one goes off at me I had the pleasure of listening to one of those hostages at a Military Covention, and ask questions. |
