Trump was on by phone with the Morning Joe crew and when he recognized Gene's voice talked about how much he loved the guy...Gene managed to ask his question but later confessed he was still having to process the "bromance" he was having with Trump!

That interview was absolutely riveting...got Joe yelling in moments so that Donald appeared more sane than Joe did!

That segment was more fun than I've had with that show in a long time...It should be up on the msnbc.morning joe website shortly...

I'm still laughing...

1. I wasn't sure they were even live this am. Saw a couple stale interviews running while...

...every other news channel was taking the Louisiana shooting news conference live.

2. well, if the "Live" button isn't up at the top of the screen then you know it is taped.

I saw the pretaped one but I'm pretty sure that the phone interview with Trump was live. It'll show up on the video clip...

3. What I saw not only had no "Live" tag, the segments had weird intros and outros by Joe

Looked like 'evergreen' stuff you'd run when a guest didn't show up.

6. probably legally sane but that leaves a lot of room for his anger management

issues and contemptible attitudes...
