(114,667 posts)and we have monsoon season humidity so I feel your pain.
I'm officially sick of summer and we've only had about 3 weeks of it in total.
There are storms in my area, so we'll either get rain to cool us off or the cold outflow winds when the storms collapse at sunset.
It's just miserable now.

(45,656 posts)one year in Phoenix Arizona it hit 119... dry heat. There you have to have AC...I don't have AC here, I have a fan, which is no good, it just pushes hot air around..I feel like I'm in a dryer.. right now.. My poor cat has crawled into a dark box and has fallen asleep. SIESTA TIME for him.
There is no way I could sleep in this.. we need some of that fog to come in, and cool it all down!

(10,337 posts)70 degrees would have been go out and get a suntan weather. Five years later, 70 degrees is freezing cold. 90 degrees is just fine. Having a pool helps.
