Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach him to fish and he gets a subsistence wage at best, but the capitalists who own the boat and the nets eat for a lifetime.

Fishing sucks.

Build a private condo complex on his best fishing spot, drill for oil in his waters, completely foul the waters, and when the man protests, arrest him for trespassing and terrorism.
