I would call it the only authentic high as it does not involve dulling any senses but rather bypasses some of the reality filters that keep us from experiencing very much of what our senses take in.

The perception of reality is nothing more than what our senses pick up minus over 90% that is filtered out.

I spent most of my younger years trying to open the doors of perception, there are openings, the more you perceive, the more actual reality is "seen", the higher you get.

It is nothing at all like being drunk however, maybe you have gotten high on meditation and just did not realize it.

this state of being a "high" seems to me to be inaccurate. I agree that there is a continuum of awareness, from our normal daily low levels to higher levels. But I feel like meditation experiences enhance awareness. This fundamentally differs from the dulling of awareness caused by drugs and some of the other physical world interactions commonly referred to as a "high".

hard core addiction. My gawd I live with an opiate addict, if only this poor soul had stuck to the weed.

something as a simple H2O overdose will destroy your electrolyte balance and fuck you up if not kill you. maybe we should consider THAT more dangerous that pot, too. i mean, OD'ing on pot won't kill you...

Oxygen. Yeah. H2O.

Yep. Overdosing on Dihydrogen monoxide can cause water intoxication, which, in extreme cases can cause death.

He took it for years for his back pain. Popped it like candy, kept doing it long after we learned it was dangerous. His doctors also put him on statins, which are also bad for your liver. He was diagnosed with non-alcoholic cirrohsis, given 1-2 years to live, and was dead of renal failure within 6 months, dying last December.

my mother was a huge believer in the stuff, and it was shoved in my mouth anytime i had a headache or any other body ache...
when i was 11 i was taking three extra strength tylenol at a time for stuff, even tho adult dose is no more than 2 (at the time i had headaches frequently, so every other day probably)..

id say i used that much until i was around 16 or 17....when i realise tylenol was harmful and cared

but if not, tell your doctor about your history and get a liver function test at your next physical. Liver disease can be treated if it's caught early, but if it's too late, like it was for my stepfather, it's just a death sentence.

Stay well! We need all the progressives we can get.

for at least six months before they hit market and since they were made by good, honest corporations who have the impetus to produce the profits granted by all the grinning investors who are willing to toss away any values for a little money we know they can be trusted.

We've only had a few hundred years of marijuana field studies and not only that we find it might be more profitable to keep it classified as an illegal substance and pay people to crack the heads open of anyone seen in possession of it. Nobody ever considers the poor people who lose their livelihood if MJ becomes legal.

but rather what it isnt.

and it ISNT a good way for large corporations to make money off of people.

thats why its illegal.

dont kid yourselves into thinking its the united states making a moral stand against a scurge..
that has nothing to do with it.

If youve ever attempted to grow weed, you know its relatively easy to do. ive literally just planted a seed and bam, grew with no effort whatsoever.

Why would they want you to have a MEDICINE that grows for FREE when they can sale you chemicals that need other chemicals to stop their side effects?

you cant make money off of free!!!

thats capitalism baby.
