(23,340 posts)This is the most ignorant thread of the week.

(10,362 posts)I'm not buying, though. Only the ridiculously stupid could fail to notice these inconsistencies

(10,362 posts)And zero disruption from BLM.
I don't need evidence to state what BLM is doing right now: attacking the most liberal candidate either party has running.
They're self-destructive and actively hurting black people. The naive will follow them but I won't.
kwassa
(23,340 posts)Nor does anyone else.
LittleBlue
(10,362 posts)Besides, why do I need proof to call out BLM on their anti-black, destructive behavior?
Whether they're paid by Hillary or just unwilling dupes, they're hurting the best candidate we have. Fuck em.

(43,850 posts)It was quite the disruption, though. Bernie's headed to a little bar near me now. If I wasn't a little unnerved by that display I might go down.
Later he's at the UW stadium, which will have mad security.
Hard to be a man of the people when the people are mad at you.

(43,850 posts)Bernie doesn't have the tight security and he does have the populist stance. So people can and do get very close to him. Honestly, the ease of targeting him was very apparent and spooked me. But it's also his most powerful statement.

(10,602 posts)If anything Bernie has supported Blacks in the past. And these protesters should be at GOP rallies and conservative rallies at at police departments. They are targeting the WRONG person. I am just posing a question. And haven't we seen enough to GOP mayhem over the years to suspect of them of anything? Our problem is that we keep giving the GOP the benefit of the doubt. And we are too timid about confronting them and taking the attack to them.
It is very likely that "Black Lives Matter" is legitimate. But they will hurt Dems if they start attacking our candidates while leaving the real racists alone.

Strange.

(10,602 posts)His record on black civil rights is clear if you look at his long record. Protesting Bernie does NOTHING to help blacks. And closing down his speck is very troubling. What they are doing makes absolutely NO SENSE whatsoever. It is truly bazaar because the policies he is promoting helps everyone including minorities.
And the protests just seem suspicious. WHY ARE THEY NOT AT GOP EVENTS OR POLICE STATIONS WHERE DEATHS HAVE OCCURRED?
What is happening reminds me of the kinds of radical plants used against unions and other progressive organizations like Occupy. What Bernie is talking about are the same policies pushed in the 1930's calling for social and economic justice.

(615 posts)A Sanders presidency is something that makes global 1%ers do a gut check.
They will do anything to make sure he isn't elected.
I wouldn't say the problem is BLM, but the FBI/PD/every other ratfucking agency that has made a very effective practice of killing popular movements in this country since the 60s.
