I know this will come as a shock to you, but those 3rd world people are also protesting globalism at these g8 and g20 meetings, too.

They're also protesting the G8 because of the G8's record of environmental negligence and destruction, and a ton of other things. They may also be protesting because of past acts of violence and corruption by the police at G8 meetings.

You could, of course, just look this all up.

The only way to do that is by voting. If Occupy adherents protest the G8, NATO and protest all summer, but sit on their asses on election day, they wouldn't have accomplished shit. The world can be changed by taking over local political offices, then state offices and then national offices, including the Presidency, this seems to be a dynamic that Teafucks understand, but Occupy people don't.

You don't get that the G8 represent the 1%?

I think my suspicion was right the first time.
Surely you know the G8 are the 1%.
No one is that stupid.

I get it, many 1%ers are fucked up assholes. But what in the shit are people that take your point of view going to do about it other than get the shit beat our of yourselves in the street by pseudo-nazi cops? Go back to the drawing board and figure out how to gain real, lasting power and how to conform society into what you wish it to be.

Or how about the civil rights protests closer to home? They got beat by the cops but they still won.

Do I care? Not one iota of one milligram of concern. I don't waste time with those that don't want to debate and consider the possibility that their worldview may not in fact be all right, mostly right or kinda right.

what is it they want? lol. I think there is a full page statement on the facebook page. Sorry I am on my phone and it's way too much effort to look it up for you.

i will however tell u that nato is considered the military arm of the 1%.. Waging wars to take a country's resources and to make the corporations that provide the war materials even richer. They use the poor and middle class as cannon fodder while the rich sit home and reap the financial benefits of war. Perpetual war is needed to keep the greedy bastards rolling in dough. They care not how many die for it as lomg as they keep getting rich.

As for the 58 and fair tra

and all of the people that have promised to defend it to the death.

But that's just me.

I'm sure everyone isn't there for the same reason, but when you have all the major world leaders in one spot, it creates the perfect stage to display whatever you're angry about in the world.

And why would your preferred system be better? Spare me the maxist theory bullshit, give me one example of where a socialist system has succeeded. And please don't count capitalism based social democracies such as Sweden, Norway and modern Germany, those systems aren't socialist.
