They're also protesting the G8 because of the G8's record of environmental negligence and destruction, and a ton of other things. They may also be protesting because of past acts of violence and corruption by the police at G8 meetings.

The only way to do that is by voting. If Occupy adherents protest the G8, NATO and protest all summer, but sit on their asses on election day, they wouldn't have accomplished shit.
