1. I know it's not widely reported ...
... but I believe this realization accounts for thousands of runaway dogs every year.
Many "strays" who are picked up on the streets were not abandoned - they simply chose to leave home and forage for food out of garbage bins rather than listen to FOX-News 24/7, or hear their owners' talk about what a great president Donald Trump would be. And who can blame them? |

8. If only half the electorate would have that epiphany.
But apparently, half the electorate is less able to recognize its own self-interest as well as a dog.

9. Long live Romney's dog, Seamus
Did the Romney Family Dog Flee to Canada?
http://www.slate.com/blogs/browbeat/2012/02/16/romney_s_dog_seamus_did_he_run_away_to_canada_.html Paging Gail Collins: the shameful tale of Seamus, Mitt Romney’s Irish setter—whom the candidate stuck in a crate and strapped to the roof of his car on a 12 hour ride to Canada—may have ended with a stroke of poetic justice. According to a piece on Politicker yesterday, Romney’s sons told reporters in an off-record conversation that the dog ran away when the family got to Ontario. Such a revelation, if true, gives the lie to Romney’s now nearly five-year-old claim that Seamus liked riding on top of the station wagon. (“He scrambled up there every time we went on trips,” the governor insisted. “He got it all by himself and enjoyed it.” To which we say: That is either one small station wagon or one very athletic dog). ![]() RGENT CRATE-GATE UPDATE: Did Mitt Romney Lie About Fate of Seamus? from the authoritative source, Dogs Against Romney, http://www.dogsagainstromney.com/2012/01/urgent-crate-gate-update-did-mitt.html According to a “trusted Politicker tipster,” Walker says, “two of Romney’s sons had an off-the-record conversation with reporters” in which they revealed that Seamus actually “ran away when they reached their destination” in Canada. |
