Lies! Lies!
Republican Leaders spew lies.
And their pathetic, uninformed followers believe them.
The truth of the matter is that they don't give a rat's ass about the debt or the deficit. Just like Cheney said, "deficits don't matter". Of course, that was when they were in charge and were doubling the national debt.
If they were honest, they would have no legitimate excuse to cut Medicare or any program that might help the people of this country. They are obsessed with an agenda to cut spending for the poor and cut taxes for the wealthy. And they are selling this bull crap to their lazy, uneducated followers. They have no solutions for any of our problems.
Their plan is to continue to block and filibuster everything that the Democrats bring up. Even if the Democrats win the next election and the people speak loudly with their votes, the Republican leaders plan on doing the same thing they are doing right now. They are only able to do it because Republican voters permit it.
We have come to a point where the only people that can save us are Republican voters. It is they that are holding this nation hostage. Their leaders refuse to compromise on anything. That is a dirty word. Meanwhile, our nation leans closer and closer to the edge.
And when we go off the edge, the Republican Leaders will lie once again. They will blame the Democrats and the Republican sheep will believe them. The truth means nothing. Lies rule the day.
