Jesse Ventura clarifies stance on Donald Trump: He's a "benevolent dictator," endorses Sanders

Despite a playful hypothetical earlier in the week about running with Donald Trump, former Gov. Jesse Ventura has endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders. In addition, Ventura referred to Trump as a "benevolent dictator" whose immigration plan is "ridiculous." The more Independents who jump on the Democratic side, the better it looks for the country heading into 2016.

"He's (Trump) not the benevolent dictator, not like you are when you’re head of a corporation. He has to understand that government is a system of checks and balances, and people have to work together and compromises have to happen."

No Donald, you can't run the government like you run your companies.
