When will Donald Trump drop out of the 2016 campaign ?

I think he will take us for a ride until just before the RNC convention. We'll see.

I have no clue when or if Trump will drop out. If and when he loses big time in the polls, maybe?

Once the hard, boring work of campaigning sets in he's gonna go on to his next "deal." He likes to close deals, remember, not to keep hammering them...

I see no upside for him to actually be President.
He would have to distance himself from his businesses.
He would lose the intimidation (power) factor because he can't go around suing people.
He would actually have to govern which is much more difficult than one sentence sound bites.
He loathes losing.
He cannot take any criticism at all. Look at the twitter responses (and if you think he actually takes the time to twitter I have a bridge to sell you). He responds to criticism by name calling or lawsuits. Even he knows that wouldn't work in DC.
I think the only reason he is running as a republican is because he knows that their base eats up bullshit, bigotry and fear which is all he is selling. There are not any buyers for that kind of idiocy in the democratic party. He is a marketing guy and he is going after the low hanging fruit.
His end game? I don't have a clue yet. Maybe it is exactly what it looks like...narcissism.

And essentially daring Congress to impeach him.

He's not mentally stable. And the prospect of someone that mentally unstable in the White House is too scary to embrace the whole "Lord of GOP Chaos" prospect. The downsides are just too huge. I honestly think we could see a Constitutional Crisis if this man somehow makes it into the White House.

He is a narcissist but he isn't crazy. Donald always does what is best for Donald. Being President isn't one of them.
We will see.

but then I dontbthink Cheney threw everything he had into a blind trust either. Maybe that isn't done anymore and we just don't need to know that.

Yes the right loves them some authority and belligerence. Trump is as belligerent as they come.

For example, in Texas by December 14, 2015 Trump has to either file to run in the GOP primary or file to run as an independent. He can not do both.

If Trump is serious about a third party run, there are a number of deadlines like this before the end of 2015.

I do not take Trump's threat to run as a third party seriously.

Thing of it is he's been running right along since he jumped in. And it seems he's spending his own money . One opinion that pops up in the media within all the hoopla is don't underestimate Trump. That view to it seems to counter the view point that they will tire of Trump or Trump will tire of it.

What's he really up to is a question too. For as long as he remains the star,he's in ,mathematically and otherwise.
