Who is the least awful Republican running for President?

I know they are all awful - but if, hypothetically, one of them was to become president - who would be the least bad?

I'd say Bush is the least awful. (Wow did I just say that? Yes.) DanTex Aug 2015 #1

I mean there are so many just absolutely crazy right wingers in the clown car that they make Bush almost seem like a moderate.

I was going to say Christie - he has some relatively moderate views, at least on social issues - but he is such a blowhard creep.

Forgot about Christie, he might also be "up there" with Bush in the race for least awful. But he is a total blowhard and creep, like you said. And that shutting down the GW bridge thing was totally insane.

This whole conversation is making me want to take a shower...

He was my governor for a while, and he was mostly invisible. He didn't really do anything, and he wasn't offensive. Dumb as a box of rocks, as charismatic as a puddle, but not the least bit Jesusy.

Although he only has a bout 27 supporters, he is the kind of guy Wall Street loves, and the Intelligence apparatus could easily control him. The prospect of a Pataki administration does not fill me with utter dread, and doesn't make me want to jump screaming off a cliff, but there's no way it's gonna happen.

At least the comedians of America would have something to celebrate. And he does seem to be for some sort of healthcare program for everyone. I attribute that to greed. He must love not paying for health insurance for his employees in Scotland. And he has said he supports the non-abortion parts of Planned Parenthood. At this point, Walker and Bush and a few others are trying to out-Trump Trump, so you might as well have the real thing if you have to pick one of them.

Although his teacher's lounge quote still demonstrates why I'd never actually consider voting for him.

But his would be the least bitter of the shit sandwiches we'd have to eat.
