17. I loved Brazil when I was there so many years ago. And I loved bossa nova.

This piece reminds me a bit of Brazilian music I heard there. What a rich culture.

18. The composer, Villa-Lobos, was imagining how Bach would write Brazilian music.

The bossa nova versions were inevitable. This is from one of my favorite albums from the sixties.
