They figure they'll ask a question, Trump will explode, and they'll get ratings.

Strapped and ready for a bonus check if the " journalists " turn on him .

This is going to get very very ugly before Donald leaves the building and thats what the media is counting on because face it ,it appears to be just TV entertainment .

ask him about why he had Ramos removed and kept asking until he conceded to allow him back in but that's not what they should have done, they should have walked out on him.

It also appears that the guy who told Ramos to "get out of (his) country" wasn't a local whom anyone recognized, I suspect he was one of stump's thugs just waiting to make more of a scene.

Stumper is a showman, a pretty nasty one who was bred in mafia-style bullying and is very proud of himself for it... makes Crispy look like a novice.

The very ugliest of Americans on parade.

He had already called on one reporter who had already begun his question when Ramos started his statements. If you listened to him, he wasn't asking a question, he was making statements. Trump told him to sit down and wait to be called upon. Why is that wrong? I know you all think if the rest of the reporters would have walked out it would have harmed Trump, but I'm not so sure. Plus, the reporter NEVER wants to be "The Story".

Let Trump go. If there are enough Pubbies to get him the nomination, that's their problem. Bernie or Hillary would easily defeat him.

for someone else, then sneered at him.

Perhaps it's time for the reporter to be the story. In this case, Trump hurt himself with millions of potential voters for nothing.

right up until he said "Go back to Univision!" which was just a condescending and
veiled racist insult (i.e. go back to Cuba you low-life, insignificant immigrant)

One, polite "Sit down, it's not your turn." would have sufficed, but the angry bully
within Trump can't restrain itself and he tried to humiliate Ramos in the process.

Being right does not exclude a person from being an asshole. Trump is an asshole.

Univision is canceling its telecast of the Miss USA pageant, an event partially owned by Donald Trump, to protest Trump's offensive remarks about Mexicans.

Furthermore, Univision says it is severing all other business ties to Trump.

Not that The Rump is petty enough to let that influence him. Nah.

If this was a Fox News reporter and a democrat had shut them down/kicked them out, the majority of DU would have cheered.

Trump is an asshole, but the reporter was in the wrong too.

... this: According to several analyses I've read, there's simply no way Trump can win an election by blowing off the Hispanic vote, which he's clearly done and continues to do.

Trump and his advisers aren't stupid. The math isn't hard. They must know this.

So what's the plan? Steal the election by manipulating the electronic tabulation? Withdraw prior to the election and pursue something else? What am I missing here? Why pursue a strategy that's almost guaranteed to fail?

Seriously, go over the Breitbart or Free Republic and you'll find the tea party types convinced Trump will win the Hispanic vote. (and the women vote too).

The GOP establishment does know the truth, as do most Republican analysts/pundits. But the wacko right actually believes the reason they lost the last two elections is because McCain and Romney "wasn't conservative enough." They believe there is some mystical conservative voting bloc out there that simply stayed home.

Is Trump himself as delusional as the wacko right? Maybe. But I tend to think he's more savvy that. And if he is, I'm still puzzled as to what he's planning.

As for visiting Breitbart or Free Republic, it's a good idea but I'm not sure my blood pressure could take it.
