if we are to save our environment.

Here is an article that details some of the corruption that makes Nestle's exploitation of California's drought possible.

http://theantimedia.org/forest-service-official-let-nestle-drain-california-water-now-works/

We need to impose taxes on the sale of bottled water in California and use the money for research to deal with the drought issue.

A lot of people think the tap water is suspect in our state. I use a filter at home and drink that tap water. In Los Angeles, we get a written report every year that analyzes the water quality in our are.

If you live in California and buy bottled water, please check with your local water agency on how they insure the quality of the tap water in your area. You may be very pleasantly surprised.

Just check it out.

And if you live somewhere outside of California, please think of us when you drink Arrowhead water.

I used to have a lot of squirrels in my yard. They are gone this summer. I recycle all the water that I use that is safe to recycle. Our drought is unbelievable. Please ask where your bottled water comes from.

Please. Please.

i'm in sacto, and also have lots of squirrels around. i saw something sad the other day. about 10 minutes after a quick rinse/wash of my car in the driveway, i looked out the window and there was a young squirrel rushing to get a drink from the sidewalk. not much water there, but it was very eager to get some...birds too.

They plan to build a plant in Cascade Locks out in the Columbia Gorge. People are fighting like hell to stop it.

the least of their transgressions. maybe a smart PR firm has decided to put some focus on this to divert anyone from

https://www.google.com/#q=nestle+slavery

the real problem with this story is it leaves EVERYONE else out. Pepsi fills their water bottles out of our depleted supply.
imagine the quantities being exported? stolen from the region.

nestle needs to go down hard,
Americans need to stop countenancing slavery and other inhumane activities.

moonbeamyl-liberal, he has been entrenched with business interests for a long long time.

His excuse about fracking inside the state is this one: "Just what in the world can we do about it?"

And that is all that matters these days.

Heck, 30 gallons of water for a glass of wine. Water that used to feed rivers, streams and Redwoods now being turned into booze. Most likely for the pleasure of more shareholders, if not of Nestle, of something as equally nasty and wrong but they love, love, love that death money more than being a semi-decent human being.

Behind every attack against our natural world, behind every ignorance of our perils, is a satisfied, and most likely self-medicated, investor.
