Some of the slogans are familliar today such as "Race mixing is communism". Except that today they say "the president is a socialist".



My personal favourite has to be the Nazis with their VW van. As serious as it was at the time it looks pretty comical today. I mean if you're gonna be a Nazi in 1961 you gotta drive something German i suppose. "The hate bus" that went on to be an icon of the hippie movement no less, how ironic is that

This guy served in World War II and figured he was going to be a Nazi. He was assassinated in 1967.

Rockwell's background & the counter-productive nature of his activities has always made me think of him as an operative rather than a true believer.

It looks like there is so much hate there, but you know I remember in other parts of the country outside of the South there was a lot of support for equal rights from whites. My family and I and I think all our extended family and acquaintances were on the right side of history on that one. My mother was from North Carolina and she was on the right side of history without a doubt.
