You might have heard by now, but the Bible is Donald Trump's favorite book. Despite telling every crowd he speaks to about his love for the Bible and Christianity, he apparently doesn't get to church much.

(3,335 posts)favorite Bible verse was. He said that was too personal. Todd then asked him, What was his favorite Testament, Old or New? Trump first hesitated and then said, "Both".
He is such a liar. Trump the Wharton Business School Graduate who had to be very, very smart to go there, had at 50/50 chance of getting that question right. Chuck had already given him a clue, Old or New? There's only two of them. And he blew it.
But the evangelicals in the South will vote for him anyway, even though he's making a mockery of their faith and their Good Book.
i do have to give Chuck Todd credit for coming up with a great question that exposed Trump as the Liar he is.

(4,261 posts)The Anti-Christ is mentioned in the Bible, but not in the Book of Revelations where most people expect the reference to be.
The quote goes something like 'People who live in the world and have material wealth, but profess to follow Christ, do not. They are Anti-Christ.'
So Trumpet and his ilk are Anti-Christ by that definition.
The Book of Revelation refers to "The Beast from the Land" and "The Beast From the Sea", but neither of them are "The Anti-Christ".

(2,160 posts)with reading the Bible. Assuming one can read (I know, I know) what does going to church add to the equation. I read the Bible without going to church. Can't everyone?
