Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI am truly encouraged at the quick backlash against Cory Booker.
The backlash was so quick and fierce that only a couple of hours passed before Cory was backtracking.
This tells me that the Dems are going to fight this election cycle. We're not going to let false equivalencies define the narrative.
As Harry Truman said: Carry the battle to them. Don't let them bring it to you. Put them on the defensive and don't ever apologize for anything.

(37,152 posts)1. It is encouraging - if Dems don't fight, they might as well hang it up.

(10,942 posts)4. Frank Lautenberg literally slapped Booker across Booker's
face tonight on Ed's show. Lautenberg has bonafide business experience and his goal was to create jobs. Obama need to get Booker out of the fucking way and let people like Lautenberg take over. Harold Ford Jr, forget him, he is a pathetic joke.
