(3,160 posts)When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it--always. Mahatma

(55,981 posts)agenda of economic inequality pushed forward if they made some minor concessions to some social justice issues.
Some have that criticism of H. Clinton, who is a 1%'er in her own right. Some think she advocates for some social justice issues and then continues the economic policies that over the last 30 years have seen the wealth gap continue to widen. Goldman-Sachs loves her economic outlook, they even pay her to speak to them about it.
I hope I've been of some help.

(33,688 posts)the Clintons and their DLC pals started happily selling the party to the oligarchy bit by bit. And it has never stopped in the last 20+ years.
Blankfein has made it very clear he considers a Jeb/HRH choice a win-win for the plutocracy. How much more clear does it have to get?

(55,981 posts)of Blankfein's words. When Ralph Nader said that Gore and Bush both represented the same people, he got chastised by those that now hear similar words from Goldman-Sachs or Blankfein (they are both considered people).
I will admit that Ralph Nader wasn't totally correct. While Bush represented the quick line to disaster, Gore represented the slower line. But many progressives, as today, don't want either the fast or slow route to disaster. But here we are looking at the prospect of another DLC candidate vs a Bush. Deja vu all over again. Thankfully there is a movement to oust the Plutocratic Oligarchs and their puppets. Go Bernie Sanders. It's do or die.
