(10,942 posts)That fucking prick need to be humiliated. The search should be on for a Newark democrat to run against Booker. Ford is nothing but a fucking joke and has been one for years. Republicans destroyed Ford with racist bullshit when Ford ran for the Senate, and that fucker Ford still finds a warm spot in his heart for republicans. Damned fools are born everyday.

He really fucked up the momentum that we were gaining with the Bain Capital talking point. We'll get back on track, WITHOUT him!

(63,911 posts)at Stanford and her most cherished political beliefs. I think she will give it a fair try but that she will ultimately come down hard on him. He must have tragically changed since she went to school with him. He has been corrupted by the very same forces that she and he thought were so harmful to our democracy and now he has done THIS?
Rachel has a real dilemma on her hands. I trust she will be true to herself...

(27,461 posts)for the mayor of the 67th largest city in the United States, Cory Booker sure gets a lot of national airtime. Are they suddenly interested in Newark, NJ? I wish. Unfortunately, they're hyping him for the same reason Wall Street gives him all that money, because he says what they want him to say.
Therefore, I think it is limited what Rachel can do with him.

(21,925 posts)If Booker's vague statements of how he feels about capital investment on Meet The Press sways the American public then I'll have no choice but to think that they are more fucked up in the head than I thought; irredeemably so. I was hoping that either Rachel or Cory himself would discuss FACTS, FACTS, AND NOTHING BUT FACTS tonight about Bain and not just offer what sounded like a very contorted and nuanced clarification of opinion. I'm wondering why Rachel at least didn't present the facts about the nature of vulture capitalist firms like Bain and how their operation differed from that of other capital investment firms, offering Booker a way to explain that some capital investment is good and some not so much.
