If Booker's vague statements of how he feels about capital investment on Meet The Press sways the American public then I'll have no choice but to think that they are more fucked up in the head than I thought; irredeemably so. I was hoping that either Rachel or Cory himself would discuss FACTS, FACTS, AND NOTHING BUT FACTS tonight about Bain and not just offer what sounded like a very contorted and nuanced clarification of opinion. I'm wondering why Rachel at least didn't present the facts about the nature of vulture capitalist firms like Bain and how their operation differed from that of other capital investment firms, offering Booker a way to explain that some capital investment is good and some not so much.
