God lord. Listening to Andrea Mitchell talking about how Booker's Meet the Press pooch-fuck was one of those refreshing things where somebody speaks from the heart.
See, now this just doesn't get the job done:
Those refreshing things where somebody speaks from the heart are when somebody says something that is true, but that you seldom hear.
Booker was spouting shallow dishonest self-serving nonsense designed to make him look like the grown-up in the (board)room to the detriment of everybody in the world trying to improve things... the canned rhetorical nonsense that the Chamber of Commerce hoses us down with 24/7/365.

(26,549 posts)The financial industry, including Bain, donated $525,000 to his first mayoral campaign. He was widely expected to lose against a long-time mayor, so he raised less than $800,000 total.
This is just paying back the people who own him.

(21,925 posts)She's particularly been on the warpath of late against Obama's ad about Romney's Bain Capital commercials. Last week I sent an e-mail to MSNBC protesting the fact that she consistently has softball interviews of Republicans while giving Democrats a hard time. Her credibility as a journalist is all but spent and I wonder what she's doing on that network. She's shit.
