WTF is wrong with the media? A man attempts suicide by going over the Niagara Falls

and all I keep hearing this morning is how he's only the third person in history to survive a trip over the falls without safety equipment. Like it is some sort of world record or something for Guinness to publish. ABC is calling him the "Miracle Man." No discussion of suicide or depression or mental illness. I feel ill. I have a brother who attempted suicide twice this winter. The last thing this poor man needs is the media sensationalizing him at a vulnerable point in his life.
