Man accused of South County stabbing helped kill another Laguna Niguel man in 2004 (CA)

LAGUNA NIGUEL A 37-year-old white supremacist and gang member accused in a fatal stabbing who was still at large Tuesday afternoon had already served time for the killing of another Laguna Niguel man.
Craig Tanber was sentenced to six years in prison for voluntary manslaughter in a 2007 plea deal, and now he faces a possible life sentence after Orange County Sheriffs deputies say he fatally stabbed Shayan Mazroei, 22, of Laguna Niguel around 12:15 a.m. Monday during a fight outside Patsys Irish Pub, 28971 Street of the Golden Lantern.
In 2007, Tanber admitted to helping kill 26-year-old Cory Lamons, whose body was found April 6, 2004, in the bed of a pick-up truck by Huntington Beach police, court records show. Lamons was beaten to death with a claw hammer for stealing money from the former girlfriend of a gang member, according to the Orange County District Attorneys Office.
