On a more serious note, the earlier comment led me to do an iota of research, where I learned that anthropologists now think that Neanderthals were every bit as smart as Homo sapiens. Couldn't find anything related to niceness, however. No indications, for example, that Neanderthals would pay for the next Neanderthal's cup of Starbucks at the drive-thru window.

7. I don't get bigotry

But what I really don't get is people GOING OUT OF THEIR WAY to be hurtful/nasty to other people. I get that some people are just going to be bigoted/ignorant because they don't know any better/haven't been exposed to more positive and inclusive influences but there seems to be a certain amount of people whom feel it is their almost divine duty to take action and attack people they don't like for one reason or another and will seemingly fight to the death for their "right" to do it.
