http://www.joemygod.com/2015/09/09/linda-harvey-its-time-for-christians-to-establish-biblical-and-homosexual-free-sanctuary-cities/Family life would be much healthier and safer in these cities. Keep out the vile gay-pride parades as well as harassment lawsuits against bakers and florists. And how about no pro-homosexual lessons in school, falsely implying that some people are born homosexual, or born to mutilate themselves by sex-change surgery? Also, no ban on counseling for teens who have same-sex attractions. And the local media, if they tried to distort the truth in the current popular fashion, would find local advertisers withdraw.
Imagine the freedom to live the truth. No one in such cities would be arrested or sued or fired or demoted over marriage, or have a TV show canceled, or be kicked out of grad school, or lose a consulting contract, or be mocked, or given a failing grade for supporting only man/woman marriage, or be prevented from preaching the whole Gospel. Marriage sanctuary cities are a wild proposal, but why not? Its not just a good idea its the law. Hate group leader Linda Harvey, writing for World Net Daily.
Um, Linda, didn't we already try that? Does Ave Maria, Fla. sound familiar? How's that workin' out for ya, Linda? </dr-phil> I can't even find any census data for it!

(6,409 posts)A whole community of religious zealots, all waving their hands in the air, and speaking in tongues and just praising Jesus 24/7. Only one teensy problem. It's illegal to deny housing to anyone on the basis of religious belief. Yes, you can set up a housing unit for married couples only, but guess what! That has to include same-sex couples. Bummer, huh?

(14,449 posts)Immigrants (their wording) are doing the same thing by ignoring laws. The good news is that the American people has a whole just look at the groups as idiots and ignore their rhetoric.

(5,279 posts)There are societies which kill homosexuals by chopping their heads off, by stoning, by throwing them off of buildings; those methods would, at face value, seem to be a fairly good deterrent. And yet, homosexuals are there, human and other than human.

(78,249 posts)Because of its remoteness, even by Antarctic standards, most of Marie Byrd Land (the portion east of 150°W) has not been claimed by any sovereign nation. It is by far the largest single unclaimed territory on Earth, with an area of 1,610,000 km2 (620,000 sq mi) (including Eights Coast, immediately east of Marie Byrd Land).

They need, and I mean need on the most basic of levels, everyone around them to think like them or their world becomes chaotic. Everything that challenges what they believe challenges their very being. If everyone thinks like them, then they're right - they believe the right thing, the live the right way, they do things right....but if that belief is challenged, then there is a threat to that comfortable existence. They won't entertain the idea that they might be wrong, so it has to be everyone else.
