5. That's hardly a stinging retort. In fact, it's as lame as the "pastor's" original statement.

The pastor made a wholly nonsensical statement which is unsupported by scripture and tradition. Adding the words, "If God wanted to" in front of the statement doesn't make it any less nonsensical or unsupported.
