Rachel is a must watch. She is talking about how we cannibalize our own with the help of the media,

while the Repukes make the same missteps and crickets. More than crickets they don't try and bury their guys alive for making
a mistake.

You've never heard the expression " royal we"?

Let me put it this way;

Who is this 'us' you speak of? Do you presume to speak for all of DU or the democratic party or do you have a mouse in your pocket?

Move on indeed

when GOP surrogates are off-message, they are off-message in favor of the base. The base hates Mitt Romney. The base hates the fact that the establishment GOP has shoved Romney down their throats. Anyone who goes off message against Romney gets points from the base for being a "maverick".

Cory Booker didn't go off-message in favor of the Democratic base, he did the opposite, he went off-message in favor of Bain Capital.

Please forget it Pisces. Realy, we don't need to be more apologetic on our knees. That lost us elections in 2000 and 2004.

Forget it, Charlie!

Now she's getting on my nerves trying to justify bookers comments.

It's making her complicit in bookers comments.

There's loyalty to a friend when that friend is falsely accused. I can see that.

There's also loyalty to a friend when that friend is guilty and knows they did wrong.

Booker fits neither of those categories. The two of them are trying to justify his sellout.

Is that the "our" that is paid for by investment banks and venture capitalists?

Really didn't take too long for Rachel to be eaten by the moneyed interest at nbc. Sad,that.

I love Rachel and was disappointed to see her let personal feelings interfere with her fairness as a journalist.

If she is really now saying that Republicans do not canibalize their own then she is being ridiculous. Republicans enforce amazing party-wide message discipline and if one deviates a tiny bit into human being territory is likely to be deposed in a primary.

If someone *does* step outside their ideological bounds, that person is promptly thrown under the bus and repeatedly backed over until they're nothing but a little greasy spot.

That's not so bad. In fact, looking around at the number of financial industry pals in the Democratic Party's leadership right now, I'd say we could do with a heaping dose of it.

the Obama team's excellent ad targeting the business skills his opponent is promoting, rather than indulging in more crude tactics like the Rev Wright junk.

Corey could have pointed out how the Obama team is targeting Romney's purported business skills, which is a reasonable line of attack, rather than talking about Mormon magic underwear which would be like those Reverend Wright smears the Republicans have used.

After making that more logical point, he could have then praised his funders and said that not all of what Bain Capital did was destructive.

I personally got fed up with him long ago, and Rachel has just blown her credibility by so much as interviewing her friend when she should have recused herself. Crony journalism is for Fox fans, not for thinking people. It is simply unethical. There is no two ways about it, and for her to then add her own false crap in defense of him is just beyond the pale. She needs to wear a price tag, for she is for sale.
I mean, ask Dick Lugar if the GOP eats it's own. He just got ousted for a cup of tea....
