These debates are really a joke. I watched both debates - for the most part- and couldn't believe the candidates and the moderators.

Can someone please tell me why the moderators can't do the following:

-- don't bring up things said about other candidates so to start a back and forth

-- ask the same policy question to each and every candidate so we get an answer from each one (even if they all agree on that issue)

-- follow up and ask how they intend to get it passed through a Congress that can't work together and how they are going to pay for it


Now the candidates:

Absolutely ridiculous - this is some of stupid ideas brought up by candidates :

-- Senator Graham wants to drink in the white house; wants to put 10,000 to 20,000 boots on the ground to kill ISIS but yet we are only going to be 10 - 20 % of the military (which means that the other countries are going to have 90,000 - 180,000 fighters?? really?? Why didn't the moderator follow up with that question??; he says Obama has to go -- his second term is coming up -- This is one of our country's Senators??

-- Bobby Gindahl -- The left should come up with a list of jobs that Christians can't have?? Really, so what would his reaction be if he was told by an establishment they would not serve him because their religious belief doesn't allow them to serve an Indian?? This is a Governor???

Separation of Church and State buddy!!

-- Santorum -- The Supreme Court is not the law of the land. They don't make the laws they just enforce them.

Who declared Bush the President??? What law was that enforcing!!


Bush and Governor Christie on being safe in this county: My brother kept this country safe for 7 years!! Yeah ,after we were attacked!! You guys keep going over intelligence mishap by Hillary on Benghazi but W. and his team neglected the intelligence that cause the greatest attack on our country.

Rand Paul --get rid of the payroll tax which in turn means getting rid of Social Security too right.

How come Bush and Kasich couldn't come up with an American Woman figure (Rosa Parks, Eleanor Roosevelt, Mary Todd Lincoln, etc.) to be on the ten/twenty dollar bill?? They named women who aren't even American (Mother Theresa, Margaret Thatcher) Really?? Couldn't come up with a famous American Woman?? Betsy Ross??

And they all are going to make our military the strongest in the world?? We are going to fly over Putin and show him our force?? And the sequester was terrible for our military?? Really, tell me how you are going to pay for it? What services are you going to cut?? Because you are also going to lower taxes, right?? And the sequester was an agreement between both parties to get both parties to agree on a spending plan? Remember!!

Absolutely NONSENSE!!! YOU ARE NOT TELLING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE YOUR PLAN -- BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE ONE!!

Oh, and President Bush didn't do anything about Illegal Immigration either when he had both chambers.

3. On Your Last Point

That's already true, isn't it. What country has a military the size and scope of the U.S. military? And, i see commercials for the military that say they're the smartest, best educated, and best trained. So, if they're the biggest and the best trained and best equipped, aren't they already the strongest in the world?

That's just stupid.

4. I was on the airplane last night flying to London and missed it

Taking the train to our hotel we read the Evening Standard and the commentary was not good. My husband wanted to watch it but the first one was enough for me.

I am mad that there have been two republican debates and they get to spew their stuff.

We should have had a debate by now to contrast the reality and to the crazies on the right.

Wasserman Schultz has to go.
