From Cedar Rapids.
It started with a social media post made earlier this month. A San Antonio man, Anthony Welichko, Facebooked a picture of a blue line painted on the curb in front of his house. He put it there as part of a campaign called the Safe Harbor Initiative. Welichko urges others to do the same.
To all law enforcement who see this line, know that the residents of this home appreciate your service and dedication to keeping the peace, Welichko said in the post.
We found a bunch of those blue lines in Cedar Rapids. Trouble is, theyre not for police, but construction crews who use them to mark utilities buried under ground.

taxpayers and they have a right to see to it that vandalism laws are enforced.
