We've heard him say countless times that the Shrub AWOL-and-Deserter story was TRUE. That's not news. But it was priceless when he was asked what the problems with the news *business* are and he ticked off the corporate part but when he said "trivializing of the news" I chose to take it as a personal size-up of WAH-WAH. Her claims to fame are pish; her real one is that she contributed in a big way to trivializing the news.
But RATHER had another bombshell (to me since I haven't read his book). He said that his dismissed lawsuit went far enough to get discovery of indisputable, proven things, like, that the honcho of CBS News was taking direction from the chief lobbyist of Viacom on what to do in the RATHER situation that would be satisfactory to the Shrubs.
WAH-WAH being WAH-WAH had to ask him about the bad blood hwith CRONKITE because that's her job doncherknow, bringing up ugly things about (some) others while ignoring all criticism about herself. Like, when she asked Ricky MARTIN whether he was Gay, at a time when he wasn't ready to say so, why hasn't she asked some of her pals she's interviewed (I can't think of the names right now) the same thing?
On Edit: Allow me to clarify (without my deleting words). When I said her bringing up "UGLY things" I was NOT referring to being Gay. I was referring to her attempting to Out somebody at a time when he was not ready, or rather, her pursuit of sensationalism for her self-aggrandizing "get".
