Washington fan wears redface for game against Giants at MetLife Stadium

Washington fan showed up at Thursday night’s game against the Giants in redface and a black ponytail wig with feathers tucked in it, apparently drawing inspiration from the team’s insensitive nickname and logo.



The unidentified fan, who was wearing a Ryan Kerrigan jersey, didn’t interact with Giants fans at MetLife Stadium, according to a fan who was in attendance, but Big Blue backers were generally disgusted by the man’s choice of gameday attire.

“He was sitting a few seats away and a lot of people were talking about how inappropriate and just plain old wrong it was,” a fan, who didn’t want to be identified, told the Daily News. “But I didn’t see anyone confront him.”

5. Man you would not believe the names of most of the venues these days..

I tour with a band for a living and man, it's nothing but corporate names everywhere. Verizon Amphitheater, Xfinity Amphitheater, Nissan Stadium, Gillette Stadium... some of the better ones: 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheater, Sleep Train Amphitheater, Comfort Dental Amphitheater.. Clear Channel did this to us, or Live Nation as their touring division is now known, any way to make money.
