By Travis Waldron
Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney has told voters that his election would be very positive news to the American economy, and that by voting for him, voters could spark an economic turnaround.
Romney continued that narrative today, telling Time Magazines Mark Halperin that his policies would reduce unemployment to 6 percent by the end of his first term in 2016:

(10,960 posts)Though doing nothing would accomplish Romney's grand promise, his actual proposed policies would prevent the currently projected decrease in unemployment from happening.

(95,337 posts)I think he just has some part of his brain that disassociates himself with reality. I suppose that's something that can be found with the filthy rich especially when you're a trust fund baby. There's is a total disassociation with what this person sees as 'normal' and what really is normal for the rest of us. George W. Bush definately fell into this category but he was nowhere near as bad as what Romney is.
Romney just has this giant bubble surround him that makes him totally clueless about what reality is. And that makes him 1000 times scarier than GWB ever was.

The media is bending over backwards for Romney...failing to even question his lies. So Romney just keeps floating bullshit.
