Good Morning America- nine wins straight.
A 23-year-old man from the D.C. area has racked up eight wins on TVs Jeopardy, and hes still going.
As of Tuesday night, paralegal Matt Jacksons winnings total $230,610.
Early in the show, host Alex Trebek asked Jackson to talk about his very different parents.
My mother is white, liberal and Jewish, and my dad is black, Christian and conservative, he said.
Trebek responded, Whoa hello!
Trebek also called Jackson impressive as always, and said to the camera, Is it too soon to mention the name Ken Jennings?
Jennings is the man who won a record-setting 74 times on Jeopardy in 2004.
The Jeopardy website says Jackson was 22 years old when he auditioned for the show.
Before his first appearance, Jackson shut down his Facebook account and reduced his social life to the bare minimum so he could spend maximum time preparing.
Jackson will try for nine wins on Wednesdays show.

The thing that bothered me the most at first was the way he interrupts Alex after he provides an answer. I think they worked with him some because he's done it less and less as the game goes on.

(5,842 posts)It's got to be somewhat demoralizing to face this guy given his history of pretty much having the game in the bag within minutes of the second round starting.
I don't recall the last time the second place contestant had a hope of winning in Final Jeopardy even if Jackson bet $0
