President Obama Crashed A Wedding - He also had some advice for the groom.

President Barack Obama became the wedding-crasher-in-chief this weekend after a round of golf at Torrey Pines in San Diego.

The president was finishing up his round just as it was time for Brian and Stephanie Tobe's wedding ceremony at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. The 18th hole was near where the wedding altar was going to be.

After Obama finished playing, the bride and groom, who were waiting in a nearby lodge, ran down to the hole where the president was shaking hands with onlookers.

Stephanie Tobe told NBC San Diego that Obama, who recently celebrated his 23rd wedding anniversary, had some advice for her soon-to-be husband: Don't step on the bride's dress.

totally paranoid about a president getting hurt or killed on his watch. But presidents are people, and they like to be friendly, go to places that are security nightmares, etc. Pres. Carter was famous for dumping his protection, esp when he wanted to go fishing.
