Does anyone believe O'Mara when he says he hasn't reviewed perhaps the prosecutions best evidence

against Zimmerman?

Snip>

Prosecutors said some of Zimmerman's statements were inconsistent with physical evidence and statements from other witnesses.

"Defendant has provided law enforcement with numerous statements, some of which are contradictory ..." the prosecution's motion said.

Zimmerman's attorney Mark O'Mara also wants to keep private text messages, emails and journal entries the defendant made, at least until he can review them.

O'Mara said releasing the information would "adversely affect the proper administration of justice in this case, and may make it impossible to find an appropriate jury unaffected by this information."

My guess is the last sentence I posted is a lot closer to the truth than what O'Mara said about still needing to review this stuff. And if he doesn't want it out there then it's probably pretty bad stuff. I admit Corey's case has looked really weak for murder II and private texts and e-mails we haven't seen because the defense doesn't want the public to see it yet are probably the smoking gun, no pun intended.

She hasn't charged Zimmerman with Murder I. It's Murder II.

Murder I would require proving premeditation, which is likely impossible in this case.

I think it's looked weak for murder II as well so far. Manslaughter would seem a better fit based on the evidence at hand. My guess is the stuff being held back is what Corey based the murder II charges on for the most part, but we will have to wait and see.
