Even though I want Bernie's vision for the future of this country

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by NH Ethylene (a host of the General Discussion forum).

I will gladly vote for Hillary if she gets the nomination.

She's done this before - stood tall and steadfast under conditions that would make most people (men and women) wither and implode. But we forget that until we see her do it again. And again.

Dear Republicans, thank you for the reminder.

she was steadfast in protection of herself. I don't expect her to fight much for "the people" if she gets the White House. I do expect her to relentlessly go to bat for the corporate, third-way, Wall St. agenda, though.

4. I think at worst she'll be like her husband and Obama

Which isn't what I expect Bernie to do, but still, Bill and Obama haven't been as bad as any Republican that comes to mind. Among all the black marks there are many that aren't black and have benefited us. The same can't be said about Republican Administrations.

They aren't interested in voting for just "not as bad." They may represent the margin of victory in November.

for choosing Presidents in the past, I expect I will in the future. It will go on without me, and that's OK. But local races, state office--I will still fill out a ballot for Dems, sure.

If there are 6 people who vote Democratic and 6 who vote Republican, but just one of either party decides to sit it out, it's an automatic win for the other party. the non voter has essentially handed the win to the other party.

But I have no bone to pick with what people do. As long as they understand and accept the consequences.

will not dissuade anyone from voting for the Dem general election candidate. I expect my contributions on DU to basically be focused on Republican-bashing, in the future, should Bernie or O'Malley not be the nominee. Which is fine, that is a valuable service I am always willing to perform, regardless of elections.

Not voting is NOT the high road you seem to think it is. It's purity of cowardice.

That eliminates all current Repub officeholders and candidates, of course. I do not plan to cast a vote for, or support, any of those clowns.

when it comes to general election. If Hillary gets the nomination, she's not the "lesser of two evils". My vote for her is on the basis of her being the superior choice.
