General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsHave we ever done a more than well deserved appreciation thread for EarlG? Let this be it for today
As I am chuckling over the perfection of the graphic on the home page, which brilliantly distills the essence of the candidates for the Republican Debate lineup tonight, I am pretty damn grateful for his wit and professionalism and that EarlG allows us to partake in it.
I laud EarlG and I'll drink to him every time one of them tonight says something I can agree with.
Your admirer who will in all probablility remain stone cold sober

My 89 year old mom who always asks about what's happening on DU keeps asking to look at it again - she was that tickled by it.

(2,957 posts)Really. Today's graphic is a massive home run. I don't know why it hits me so perfectly, but it's worthy of a DUzy award (or whatever the DU hall of fame status is called).
Congratulations EarlG. You never fail to "make my day". Especially today.

(15,368 posts)and helped me stay sane up until 2008 when I actually signed up for DU so that I could recommend posts. I love the graphics!
I lurked a lot before signing up but never failed to read the "Top Ten" ... and then also got hooked on the late JeffR's "DUZY's" as well.
Life seemed a bit simpler then, when one could distill GOPer lunacy into only 10 candidates per week. Now it's such a free-for-all, it would have to be at least the "Top 50." That's definitely more than a full-time job in itself to keep track - probably enough for at least 10 DUers per week.
DU as job creator??
